When you join the Puppeteers UK community you have access to member benefits, including a regular newsletter and exclusive offers from other members and our associates. You also have the option to be included in the UK's leading puppetry directory, and you may upgrade your entry and create a full profile of yourself and your services to impress your audience. Our Gold membership enables you to list your upcoming events too!
Individuals
If you are a puppeteer, puppet maker or involved in the puppetry industry you may offer your services by joining our directory and optionally choosing one of our premium listing tiers. Individuals who are members of one of our partner national puppetry organisations, or associated with a company listed in the directory, may be eligible for a discount.
Companies
Companies and organisations joining the directory are charged an additional nominal fee of £1.50 per head for each of their employees, members or associates. This entitles their individual members to a valuable discount on all charges.
Newsletter
Our weekly newsletter is emailed to all supporters. Keep up to date with the latest news from the puppetry community across the UK. Articles include information about venues, show reviews, work opportunities, and tips and advice from fellow puppeteers and puppetry organisations.
Basic Listing
If you are an individual who is already a member of a national puppetry membership organisation, or associated with a company already listed in the directory, you are entitled to a simple basic listing and will be seen by website visitors in search results.
Premium Listings
For a small additional fee, you may choose one of our premium listing tiers and display more details about your business and services. Premium listing features include:
Website and Social Media Links - display links to your website and social media posts in your directory profile so that visitors can quickly find out more about you.
Business Summary - give additional details and a text summary about your business.
Contact Form and Click to Call Button (Silver and Gold only) - make it easy for our website visitors to contact you directly from your profile page.
Detailed Business Profile (Silver and Gold only) - more freedom to present your business with a full text editor and ability to add photos.
List Events (Included in Gold listings, pay per event for other tiers) - List your upcoming shows and performances in the What's On section of the website.
Photo Gallery (Gold only) - showcase your past performances with your own photo gallery.
Supporters
Choose your preferred listing tier from the options below and click on the Join Now button to pay your membership fee by credit/debit card or through PayPal. Don't forget to apply the discount coupon if you are entitled to it.
When your payment has been processed you will be redirected to the members area to create your directory profile. You may return to your profile at any time to complete, edit and update your details before and after publication.
Companies
Choose your preferred membership tier from the options below and click on the Apply Now button. Fill in the application form which asks you to tell us the number of employees or associates in your organisation. On receipt of your application, we will create an invoice for you and send you an email with a link to pay by credit/debit card or through PayPal. We can also accept payments by bank transfer. On receipt of payment you will have access to the members area of our website to start creating your business profile.

How do I renew my membership?Individual memberships are renewed automatically each yearunless you choose to cancel. You will receive a renewal reminder four weeks before your payment is due to be processed. Company memberships are also renewed automatically but we ask you to confirm the number of employees or associates in your organisation before processing your payment. If the number of employees has changed, we will issue an invoice for a new amount. | Can I get a discount?If you are a member of BPMTG, BrUnima, P&JF, P&J Club, Scottish Mask, or an associate of a company listed in the PUK directory, you may be entitled to a £10 membership discount. Can I list our shows in your What's On section?Yes you can! With a premium Gold membership you may have up to 20 current or upcoming shows and events listed at any one time. These will be displayed in your profile and under the What's On section of our website. Other members may list their events for a small fee for each event listing. | How do I cancel my membership?To cancel your membership, simply log in and click on 'Close my account' in the Manage Account section of your member's area. Your profile will be removed from the directory immediately and your account closed. If you closed your account by mistake, or change your mind, send us an email and we can reactivate your account within 30 days of closure. |
